“Anything about your character that collapses under adversity is not fully embodied. Only an ideal” Felt so strongly bout this message bc feeding into mistrust within has been a huge theme in my life until I finally got tired of my own shit. It took me being real with myself & meeting every facet of who I currently am & how I’m showing up for myself in my own life vs. the facets of the person I would like to become & realizing...they weren’t aligned. Shit wasn’t adding up. I’m all about grace & growth & having mercy on yourself....but sometimes tough ass love & pushing yourself is what you need. Stop waiting til you “feel like it”...bc 9/10 Xs, you’re not going to🥴& this is where DISCIPLINE comes in.
